18K Ruby Cabochon Pinky Ring - Vintage 1940s 6.5CT Quenched Ruby

Set in 18K gold, this beautiful ruby cabochon pinky ring draws in the eye! The ruby measures 12mm x 9mm x 5.8mm for an estimated weight of 6.50 carats. I suspect the ruby has been quenched creating a crackled interior which produces flashes of sparkle unusual in cabochon stones. Because of the complex interior Im unable to determine if the ruby is natural or synthetic, therefore, I am pricing it as a synthetic. It is a perfect size for a pinky ring, but I am happy to have it sized to fit. If sizing is needed, please contact me before purchasing. The ring is a size 3.75. Very good condition. Circa 1940s.
