Antique Art Nouveau 14K Natural Star Ruby Star Sapphire Cufflinks

These beautiful, vintage, antique double faced cuff links from the Art Nouveau period feature a natural star ruby and natural star sapphire on each link. The ruby and sapphire measure 7mm x 5mm and are bezel set. The companion face pieces are ornamented with raised lettering, translated to May God Protect You. The Arabic writing is typical of the Pakistan India region. These beauties are rare! Made by the renowned Marcus & Co. famous for their fine craftsmanship, masterful enameling, and use of fine colored gemstones. The cuff links measure 1 1/4 x 5/8. Very good condition. Circa 1900s.
