This highly detailed Victorian hand carved coral cameo ring has it all! A 14K yellow gold hand pierced and polished scroll work filigree setting holds an exquisitely carved coral cameo of a classical female in profile in high dimension with undercutting. Accented with a round diamond on each side. Coral cameos are harder to find but are a more durable making them a good material for rings. The hardness of coral requires greater skill in the carvers ability, so coral cameos are often quite beautifully carved. The ring measures approximately 3/4 in length and just over a 5/8 in width. The ring is a size 8. Complimentary sizing is provided upon purchase. Very good condition. Circa 1890.
