What a wonderful critter! In 18K yellow gold, with olive brown Guilloche enameling and opaque black enamel dots create the body, with cream enameled under wings. Notice the beautifully executed underside of this little beetle pin. This is a gorgeous ladybug brooch from Italy! The ladybug symbolizes good luck, and with its gentle, helpful nature is a friend to all gardeners. The ladybug measures 1.25 long by 1 at its widest. Very good condition. Circa 1960s.
