Antique Etruscan Revival French Glass Mosaic 14K Ring - Vintage 1880s

The mosaic portion of the ring is set in either low carat gold or gold filled, and is from the Etruscan Revival era of the 1880s. The mosaic piece is stamped FRN and was set in France. In the mid 20th century the ring setting was made for the mosaic piece. The ring setting is 14K yellow gold. The rectangular mosaic measures 1 1/8 x 3/8 and is set with colored glass tesserae in cobalt, and turquoise blues, yellow, red, white and black. I purchased this wonderful ring from the daughter of the original owner. The daughter and mother were French, and the daughter had immigrated to the US in the mid sixties. The ring is a size 6.
