Antique Large 14K Cameo Brooch Pendant

This exquisitely beautiful hand carved antique shell cameo brooch features the profile of a beautiful lady carved in the romanticized classical style. Her loose flowing hair is adorned with flowers and pearls, with a floral bouquet setting off her swag bodice. Set in a plain 14K gold frame the cameo may be worn as a brooch or pendant with its fold over bail. The large size of this cameo, as well as the skill of the carver will guarantee compliments on every wearing. Secured by a locking C Clasp.
Very good condition. The cameo shows no signs of cracks or crazing.
The brooch measures 2 7/8" x 2 1/4", and weighs 32.6 grams.
