Authentic Silver Denarius Coin 14K Gold Handmade Pendant - 2nd Century BC

Rarely do I get to offer true antiquities like this second century BC Roman silver denarius coin pendant set in a 20th c. handmade 14K yellow gold pendant mounting. The coin is a Denarius Minucius: ROMA L MINVCI (L. Minucius) circa 133 BC. The obverse depicting the helmeted head of Roma, with denomination mark behind. The reverse depicts Jupiter driving galloping quadriga, hurling thunderbolt and holding his scepter. The 14K gold pendant was handmade in the 1970s. It is suspended on a 20 sterling silver rolo chain with spring ring clasp. This pendant necklace is a special and ideal unisex gift. The coin measures 21.2mm x 18.8mm. The necklace weighs 10.3 grams. Very good condition. Circa 133 BC
