This 14K yellow gold organic band, designed in the Brutalist style, is by renowned 1960s designer, Charles Hopkins of Chapel Hill NC. Known for his organic brutalist designs, Charles Hopkins designs use beautiful gemstones tucked into the naturalist form of the gold. This wide band is set with eight single cut round diamonds having a clarity of VS, and two brilliant blue round sapphires. In thirty years of business, this is only the second Charles Hopkins design Ive acquired. Located on Amber Alley in Chapel Hill, his shop was across from the iconic Rathskellar restaurant.
The band measures 12mm across the top, and the back of the ring is 7.8mm. The ring is a size 5.25 and weighs 10.4 grams. If you need this ring sized, please contact me before purchase.
