French Black Beaded Petit Point Purse - Vintage 1940s Made in France

This exquisite French hand beaded evening purse is covered in black glass seed beads. The spring loaded flap closure features hand stitched floral petit point embroidery set off by tiny black seed beads. The inner compartment is black silk satin with one pocket and a stitched label reading, Made in France Hand Made. The purse is finished with a beaded strap. The craftsmanship of this vintage 40s bag is very high quality. A perfect purse to lend vintage style for that special night out! The purse measure 8.5 x 7.25 6. The strap measures 13.5. Condition is very good to excellent. There is a small place surrounded the embroidery where beads are loose, another spot near the flap where they are pushed away from the frame, and one spot that is does not have embroidery or beads. I don't see fraying or loose threads, so Im unsure if this is a flaw or not. More pictures available on request. The interior is clean and without holes, tears, fraying or stains. The gold plated ornament is bright without plating wear. The flap closure is tight and secure. Circa 1940s
