This beautiful antique 14k gold, hand carved shell cameo brooch features an exquisite carving of Gabriel, Angel of the Annunciation. The cameo is set in a 14K gold hand engraved frame. Large enough to make a stunning vintage statement, and a wonderfully beautiful piece to wear during the Christmas season! Cameos with Christmas symbolism, are not common, making this cameo exceptional. The wide 14K frame is engraved with elaborate swirls and swags. The cameo shows no signs of cracks or crazing, but does show a scratch on the back, and a chip under the frame. See pictures # 4 & 5. The brooch measures 2.5 x 2.
