Late 1940s Retro Aquamarine Ring

This chic 14K white gold design from the late 40s, is set with a cushion cut aquamarine weighing approximately 14 carats. The aquamarine is a light blue with very slight greenish blue overtones. The high polished white gold border sets off the aquamarine beautifully. The ring originated from a Columbian estate and was owned by the wife of an international ambassador. The aquamarine measures approximately 17.4mm x 14mm x 10.1mm. The ring is a size 5 1/2 and may be easily sized for a perfect fit. Quite simply this is a beautiful piece of jewelry.
