Retro Moderne 14K Yellow and Rose Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Ring

This beautiful 14K yellow and rose gold sapphire and diamond ring is stunning in its detail. This vintage ring from the Retro Moderne era of the 1940s is bezel set with four square cut sapphires and accented by Old European diamond bezel set in the center of rose gold flowers. The blue sapphires measure approximately 3mm x 3mm and 4mm x 4mm. The diamonds measure approximately 2.7mm and 3mm for an estimated total weight of .17 carat. The diamonds are very clean grading in the VS range. I have examined the sapphires under high magnification but because of the setting I haven't been able to determine conclusively that they are natural or lab sapphires. As lab grown color was often used in the 1920s - 1940s, I am assuming they could be lab created sapphires.
The ring is a size 6 1/2 (US), measures 5/8" north/south (15mm), and weighs 5.7 grams.
Very good condition, some minor nicks along the facet edges of the sapphires.
