Victorian 14K Pearl Crown Brooch - 1890s Queen Victoria Jubilee Crown

From the late Victorian age comes this exquisite 14K yellow gold seed pearl crown brooch. In celebration of Queen Victorias Golden Jubilee in 1897, many jewelers made crown jewelry to honor the event. This delicate beauty is set with white and gray seed pearls. The crown brooch is fitted with a foldover bail allowing it to be worn as a pendant as well. The brooch is unsigned, but has been tested and confirmed 14K. The pin stem is not gold. The brooch is secured by a Victorian double C clasp. This would make a lovely 30th anniversary gift, or a brides something old, and a charming way to say Youre the Queen of my heart! The brooch 1 5/8 x 1 1/8, and weighs 4.4 grams. Good condition, with some light oxidation. One pearl looks to have been replaced. Circa late 1890s
