Victorian 14K Ruby & Natural Pearl Earrings - 1890s Vintage

Monte Cristos is proud to offer this pair of antique Victorian pair of earrings. The pendant style earrings feature scrolled wire work and dangle with natural American river pearls. The center is set with natural rubies measuring 2.7mm each. The top of the earring is set with a natural seed pearl. Fitted with ear wires these earrings are for pierced ears. These earrings are exquisite, and have become increasingly hard to find. A pair of earrings reminiscent of the romance of the late Victorian age. The earrings measure 2 3/8 x 5/8. Condition is good, one ruby has a natural cavity on the surface which is visible under magnification. It does not affect the integrity or beauty of the stone. Circa 1890s.
