Victorian Coral Bead Double Strand Bracelet - 1870s Vintage Antique

This pretty vintage antique salmon coral bracelet is designed as a double row of round 4.5mm beads joined by seven rectangle beads used as spacers. During the Victorian age, coral was believed to be a protective amulet against evil, and disease. And coral is the traditional gift for the 35th wedding anniversary. The bracelet is 1/2 wide and 7 1/4 long. Its secured by a sterling filigree square clasp. Very good condition. Circa 1870.
