Rare and beautiful is this vintage antique Georgian butterfly brooch, set with old Rose cut diamonds, old cut natural blue sapphires, old cut natural rubies, and natural seed pearls in silver topped 14K gold, confirmed through acid testing. The butterfly pin is exquisitely detailed, and a very fine old piece of jewelry. The pin clasp was replaced toward the end of the 19th c. Measures 1 1/2 x 1. Good condition. Circa early 1800s to 1820s.
